You can reach us very good by every transport. Our own bus-stop directly at the salt mine is only one from our preferences that we can offer you. A good labelling route the car-driver purposeful to our salt mine. We have parking spaces at command. The way from the station, which is only about 1,4 km from our tourist attraction away, can you master by foot.

Full closure of B20 and the St2097

From 25 September to probably 11 October 2019, the B20 and the St2097 north of Stanggaß (district of Bischofswiesen) are completely closed.

We especially recommend bus groups to travel via the German Alpine Road (Ramsau) or to use the motorway exit in Anif / Grödig (motorway permit sticker required!).
Car drivers can use the locally signposted detour.

Please calculate longer travel times.

Public transport

Arrival by train
You can even reach our salt mine by train. The station Berchtesgaden is only about 1,4 km from our visitor main entrance away. Thence you attain on a footpath with about 30 min. walking-time to our salt mine.

Or you can use the bus with the line 840.

Arrival by bus
With the line 840 you can drive from the station Berchtesgaden to our bus-stop salt mine. Final destination of this line is the Salzburger central station. From there you can drive back with the same line to Berchtesgaden smoothly.
